Want to make God laugh – tell him your plans

In thinking where to go first I thought I should think about weather.  I knew I didnt want us freezing our tushies off in the winter – so I thought southern France, Spain and Portugal would be warmer than other parts of Europe for January and February.  I also have a visa situation to deal with so the plan as of now is to spend a couple of weeks in Netherlands and then take a ferry to the UK and head north to Scotland, then work our way to Ireland and England then over to France and Spain.  Not sure what the plans are after that it will depend on the visa situation.  If we’re too cold we may head south sooner.
